Massacre in Miami Fallout - July 5 - 2022
CU:LT wrestling lived up to the name of Massacre in Miami as members of the crowd are likely still picking pieces of light tube out of their hair from a tremendous main event between JD Driftwood and Justin York. York put up a hell of a fight against Florida’s Sickest Son, but in the end it was Driftwood who tossed the young star from 30 feet down into stacked light tubes in the ring.
JD has to turn his attention to Holden Ross now who won a staple gun match earlier in the night – these two will now battle in a dumpster fire match for the SNUFF Championship at Trash Wrestling for Garbage Humans at the end of August.
As for York, he has stated he will be in Boston for Trash Wrestling despite taking the major fall. He will go one on one with Serena Riot.
CU:LT saw what many would consider one of the biggest upsets in the industry, to those who haven’t been paying attention to Three Ring Barney. The undefeated team continued their streak beating two mainstream wrestling darlings in Lissie Hope and Chris Page. It was a strange duo to begin with and while they managed decent as a team things fell apart in the end. Now Chris Page and Lissie Hope will battle for the very first time at Trash Wrestling in an I Quit match. This blockbuster will surely spread the good word of CU:LT.
Things have boiled over in the feud between New World Champion Jane Doe and former champion Donnie Hopkins. Following Jane’s defense against Jaka at Massacre in Miami Hopkins attacked Jane with a taser. Donnie shot electricity through the champion’s body over and over until security intervened. Now the two rivals will finally settle things in an Electric Chair Match at Trash Wrestling for Garbage Humans.
There was one major title change, Brandon Moore could not get it done against Shogun Kaiser in a hell of a technical wrestling contest for the CU:LT Classic Championship. While Moore is due for a rematch it will be Noah Ortega who is next in line for a shot after winning a number one contenders match earlier in the night stealing a win from CU:LT Original Legion.
