New World Championship Landscape Shifted ,Gringos Gone Wild Fallout -- Oct 3, 2022
It might have been one of CU:LT’s worst deliverings but there were some diamonds in the rough in terms of matches – and the New World Championship scene shifted significantly at Gringos Gone Wild.
Gabriel Villarreal didn’t deliver the talent he promised when he took over a night of CU:LT booking as the company made it’s debut in Mexico – causing various controversies throughout the show..
JD Driftwood now holds the top title in the company – he’d be a double champion if Villarreal didn’t strip him of the SNUFF Championship.
Now after beating Donnie Hopkins in a gruelling Mexico City Street Fight JD will have to defend him championship in Dallas on Halloween night when he takes on Donnie Hopkins, Jane Doe and Lissie Hope in a fatal four way deathmatch at Deathmatch Does Dallas.
As for the other championships – Alice Gemini defended the FIGHT Championship in impressive fashion, Three Ring Barney managed to grab the Double Homicide Championships for a second run winning a light tubes, landmines and ladders match. Addy A was able to beat Max Daemon to capture the SNUFF Championship – but the pair will run it back in Dallas in a Trick Or Treat Match. AND we have a new CU:LT Classic Champion in Vincent Black who was able to make Noah Ortega pass out when they came down to the final two in a four way submission match.
Now CU:LT is coming back to American soil. We will see Casanova English return as booker and the company have a hell of a show planned for our Texas debut. All championships will be on the including a one on one match between Vincent Black and Noah Ortega for the CULT Classic Championship and the debut of Strike 2 Kill as they take on Three Ring Barney for the Double Homicide Championships. Holden Ross will challenge Alice Gemini for the FIGHT Championship as Azurine Vebbins steps in as the special guest referee.
We’ll also see the return of Iggy Deluna, Justin York taking on Ace Sky and Craig Cogan vs Adrienne Beaufort in a pitchfork match.
