April 2, 2022 – CU:LT’s first show Manson Family Values has been well received from the wrestling community with significant buys and several replays ordered.
All four championships in CU:LT were claimed and title history has been updated on the page to reflect first champions. CU:LT management would like to congratulate the newly crowned champions. All titles will be on the line once again at Jonestown Reunion on April 30th.
Donnie Hopkins walked away with the New World Championship in a grueling triple threat against Tommy Knox and Jaka. Three Ring Barney escaped the barbed wire cage with the Double Homicide Championships, Max Daemon is the first SNUFF Champion filling his pint of blood fastest and Owen Gonsalves outlasted JD Driftwood to take home the CULT Classic Championship.
While there has been no criminal charges laid against JD Driftwood for his actions beating a fan in the face repeatedly with a bear can – there are rumblings of a civil suit being filed against CU:LT as a company for misconduct. Staff at CU:LT would like to ensure fans and fighters know the situation will be handled and will not affect scheduling.
Controversy around Combat Unlimited: Lethal Trials competitor Lady Fartmouth has led management to force the athlete to wear a mask or mouth covering during her matches – something the human rights commission has lobbied the company against. While CU:LT understands Miss Fartmouth’s unfortunate citation and respects all with disabilities, physical deformities included, due to sanitary reasons Fartmouth must wear a covering.
Following Manson Family Values more names have signed up to become CU:LT Members including Chris Page, Jason Long, Savannah Andrews and Charli Crawford.
CU:LT keeps the momentum going when the company hopes to make a splash in Guyana for Jonestown Reunion at the end of April. The full card can be seen at wrestlecult.com.
