Ace Sky has been in CU:LT for 9 months now, he came into the federation with 23 years' experience. He soon became very respected in the locker room for his attitude. His reputation as far as his work goes it has been a mixed bag, he has wowed with his aerial skills, yet he has not been very successful win-loss record wise which is reflected in his spot on the card where he is in the start of the show, nowadays he is less promoted which is quite fair, given the whole show as well as the destructive antics of his boss Casanova English, Ace has been stuck as an exciting addition on screen , unfortunately not much of a grand impact.
This is severely demoralizing for Ace as his goal was to become champion or at least be fighting for a championship in Japan, specifically The Cult Classic Championship which he did mention a few times. It feels like when he got momentum one week all of sudden the next week he choked, and it was back to square one. During these times of losses, he was still being signed by a few federations but always stayed dedicated to CU: LT.
Ace was never as much of a socialite or anything outside of the ring before, now he was partying more often. This very much effected his work. While he was partying hard and coming back to work losing, he kept up his " spiritual-shaman warrior" , however as it was exposed by his childhood nemesis J.T. Douglas he was not living the life he was claiming to portray and Ace admitted as such after. He has stopped partying and is now working on his spiritual path in a genuine way, as much as possible.
Ace Sky has a mixed reputation with fans and critics more than ever and is determined to show he belongs and he's not a charlatan

since his spiritual path includes mostly suffering, adding stress to his work outs is what he does to increase the difficulty factor,
a 5-kilometer sprint with ankle weights, at his new combat school, taking on all four of his students at once, although they are new they are skilled with natural athletic ability and as energized as he was in his early days, it is truly a spectacle to watch as he takes a couple down with arm drags, leap frogs and takes the other two down at once with a front dropkick, kip up but being taken back down by a double chopblock by the other two and they lock on stereo ankle locks as the other two recover to alternate stereo round kicks to his sternum and abdomen as he is caught in a kneeling position trapped each leg in the ankle locks..
He is able to soon catch one of their legs in his armpit and torque his body enough for the two kicking him to be smooshed into each other face first to get rid of them and torques for the other two the dual ankle locks to grab one with a front facelock, hard enough clenching the guillotine submission for them to release their grip, he uses his free leg to kick the other still with the ankle lock pushing off their chest with the mule kick to give him leverage to take the one in the front facelock down with a tornado DDT!
This leaves everyone in the ring on the canvas down and out of it. Ace pops up first with a kip up followed up with a nifty headstand-front handspring and points his third eye(forehead) as the camera closes up on him.
