Hello ladies, gents and anyone in between we are here with another episode of Big Match Breakdown and here are some of my predictions for the New Year’s Eve card in Canada.
10,000 Thumbtack Submission Match
Beaufort vs Eavan Maloney
Some beautiful women poking eachother like pin cushions, a description you might have read on a different website. This 10,000 thumbtack match will test who really belongs in the ultra violent division here in CULT. Maloney came up short in her debut four way match last month. Beaufort on the other hand was able to get a huge win against veteran journeymen Ace Sky. The last time Beaufort was in a violent match she knocked herself out with a pitchfork. This does seem like it is much more Maloney’s element. It’ll be an uphill battle for Beaufort and she’s going to have to get over being squeamish over match types if she wants to climb the ladder here.
Ace Sky vs Azurine Vebbins
Ace Sky wants a CULT Classic Championships match and a good performance here might just do it. Sky has had his ups and downs in the company and it’s just a matter of time before his hard work pays off. On the other side Vebbins has taken on many roles to support CULT switching from an in ring performer to a referee. While her ref skills have been amazing, Vebbins is ripping it off to enter the ring once again. She has had issues with Holden Ross, but with the nut shot she delivered last month Ross might be dealing with some busted balls for a while. This one is a toss up, but I think Ace manages to squeeze out a win and makes a case that he deserves a shot at some gold.
Pool of Blood Match
Emily Regal vs Valerie Rousseau
We have two major debuts here aiming to baptize one another in blood and what a fitting way to join the company. These two are out to prove who the hottest new signing in this company is and to be honest it’s tough to even think who might win this match. But one thing is for sure with match is set up for Regal and Rousseau to make a name for themselves their first night with the company.
Triple Threat Bull Rope Match
Madison Bonaparte vs Murphy Doyle Maher vs Cassidy Hobbs
Another set of high profile debuts here, three men this time looking to establish themselves. I wouldn’t be surprised if the winner of their match met the winner of the pool of blood match at the next show. Three tough meaty boys boppin bodies. Who wouldn’t pay to see that?
Classic Championship
JJ Slayer vs Jenni Fenix
JJ Slayer walked into this company and shocked the world by beating Vincent Black in absolutely dominating fashion to capture the CULT Classic Championship. Jenni Fenix lost in her debut, but didn’t suffer a pinfall and she was so impressive she earned herself a title shot. Jenni is hungry and talented and while we say a dominating performance from JJ Slayer… I wonder what will happen if the man is pushed and I know Fenix is going to push him pas his comfort level. I would love to see some stability brought to the Classic division, but I think Jenni might continue the trend of making this title a bit of a hot potato.
SNUFF Championship
Barbedwire Ropes Deathmatch
Chester Roosevelt vs Addy A
Addy A has been the most dominating SNUFF Champion since JD Driftwood had a run with the title. She has beaten Max Daemon a few times and is off another huge win at Super Saiyan I. While there are no signs of her slowing down I think Roosevelt might be the one to stop her dead. He pushed Jane Doe to her limit months ago and just last month he destroyed the Bing Bong Twinz in a handicap match defending Three Ring Barney’s Double Homicide Championships. I think Roosevelt is going to be motivated to add another championship to the trio. It’ll be a bloody battle against Addy A and honestly this one may just be the match of the night. I think we see Roosevelt walk out with the title in a hard fought battle.
Whats in the Box Ladder Match
Veronica Strader vs Craig Cogan
Strader is one of the best signings this company has made in a while, but I have been bitten too many times betting against Cogan. So you know what I think this weird fucker climbs the ladder and grabs the box – some how – I really think Strader beats the ever living shit out of Cogan post to fucking post, bell to fucking bell… but the cockroach just won’t die.
New World Championship
JD Driftwood vs Alice Gemini vs Serenity Holmes
JD Driftwood has established himself as maybe the greatest CULT competitor in existence. He ended both Donnie and Jane’s time here. However, now he is caught up between the hottest feud in professional wrestling. Serenity Holmes got a huge win in her 2nd match with CULT against longtime rival Alice Gemini in the best Lion’s Den match I have ever seen. I do think Holmes got lucky – Alice is on track to being one of the most dominant competitors in this company. She took out Vhodka Black to win the FIGHT Championship. This is a tough call believe it or not and while JD is no doubt going to going to brutalize these women, but I think Alice Gemini is going to shock the world and walk out with the New World Championship.
Unsanctioned Lights Out Match
Casanova English vs Datura
It might be his company in his country, but Datura lives in the head of Casanova English. We have witnessed that week after week. She even laid out the CULT Leader in Tokyo and as much as English thinks he can channel the parts of himself in his prime, the truth is I thinK Datura gets the best of him. She has been competing regularly, holds a championship and English is just finding his footing at PWE. I think this is the first and last match we see from English.
