Okay, how this works is you can post small mini-promos here or CD leading up to What Happens In Vegas. It can be chatting about the last PPV, your upcoming match, or just some CD on how the wrasslin world affects a wrestler’s life. I’ll post some stuff here as well hyping the PPV, interviews and breakdowns with CU:LT staff and board meetings to push along the lore of the company. This is completely up to you if this is used, no pressure, does not count toward RP scores for shows. SEGMENT DEADLINE AUGUST 30TH 11:59:59 EST
A SEGMENT FOR HIGHWAY TO... CULT TV OR EVENTS WILL ADD A BONUS POINT FOR GRADES! NO POINT STACKING!

“The King of British Thong Style” is back with another edition of Star of the Month. I am Anderson Sheply, social media mogul for CU:LT and ring announcer extraordinaire bringing this segment back from the depths. The man has a sharp tongue and an even sharper wrestling mind.
The star of the past month is a no-brainer to me. I have to give Max Daemon his due. The man was the first SNUFF Champion winning a pint of blood match on the very first card Manson Family Values. That was over a year ago and Max dropped the title quickly – and ever since it has been an uphill battle to get back into contention.
His perseverance has paid off and he won the second Pint of Blood Match recently to secure a shot at the SNUFF Championship once again taking out three other worthy competitors on CULT:TV. Just this past week Daemon finished this chapter in his story by beating dominant SNUFF Champion Veronica Stader to finally recapture the SNUFF Championship.
Daemon many be an industry veteran but it seems this latest run has breathed some new life into a man who has been to the top of the world before and is determined to get there are least one more time before walking off into the sun – and by God he might just do that here in Combat Unlimited.

Hello and welcome to another episode of Big Match Breakdown with Karl Childers. Tonight I take a look at some of the storylines and matches going on in this great company and make a prediction on who might come out as winners on CULT:TV and at Summer Camp Slasher. Let’s get right into it. Today’s episode is sponsored by High Water.
CULT: TV S01E06 PREDICTIONS
Adrienne Beaufort vs Addison Stockton vs Martin Flashbang Beaufort is off the biggest win of her career. Though she wasn’t able to make it to the finals of the CULT:TV Championship Tournament she did beat former New World Champion Lissie Hope in the first round. The same glowing review cannot be given to Stockton and Flashbang at this point. Both of them got piled up and pinned by Alice Gemini at Bible Belt Beatings. Addison has shown some signs of brilliance, but I don’t think it will be enough and I think Beaufort takes that momentum for the Lissie Hope win and runs with it.
Ace Sky vs Esme SnowI don’t know enough about Esme Snow, so I have to go with the workhorse of CULT – Ace Sky. While his win-loss ratio is not the best, Sky has done a tremendous job at CULT’s gatekeeper weeding out who belongs here and who doesn’t. I think Sky blows Snow away.
Chaos In A Cage JD Driftwood vs Paul FreedomPaul Freedom has a difficult night ahead of him – and JD is angry. Even after signing the biggest contact in CULT History JD has been angry with his booking backstage. To make matters worse fro Freedom this is a cage match with all kinds of weapons attached to the walls. Freedom has been very surprising since joining CULT having an amazing showing in the Heaven Sent Battle Royal, but JD Driftwood is a pissed off former champion. The man is chomping at the bit to get his first official win since rejoining the company. I think in this one… as impressive as Freedom is – JD is going to do what he does best – drop a fucker on his head.
MAIN EVENT CULT:TV Championship Sunshine The Dragon vs Kilroy
This is a rematch from round one of the CULT:TV Tournament and you know what… I think it was Sunshine’s toughest challenge including the finals as he walked out the CULT:TV Champion. Sunshine was impressive debuting and winning an entire tournament, but Kilroy gave him a run for his money and there is no underestimating that fucking werido. Given his massive win over Junk Souma Kilroy has proved he is here to be a champion – and while he unofficially holds The Bible Belt – I think he will be able to slay the dragon and win his first official CULT Championship.
SUMMER CAMP SLASHER PREDICTIONSDog Collar Match Serenity Holmes vs Salem WhitlockHolmes has risen like a phoenix and has fallen like a rock in a short period. She was able to defend the CULT:TV Championship four times and earn a shot at the top title where she cashed in and beat a tired Johnny Bacchus. She was unable to defend that championship against CULT’s top stars in a fatal four way. It’s interesting to see what she will do with this anger – now the gold she amassed has started to shed. Whitlock on the other hand has also been impressive, she made it to the finals of the CULT:TV Championship tournament – but came up short to Sunshine The Dragon. I think Whitlock’s aversion to being tied up is going to come into play in a dog collar match and I think Holmes will use it to get a win here.
SNUFF Championship Money Clip Match Staple five twenty dollar bills to your opponent to win. Max Daemon vs Bliss
We’ve heard all the hype around Max Daemon as of late, but Bliss is one hell of a competitor. She was able to beat wrestling legend Matt Knox in the first round of the CULT:TV Tournament – something that can’t be ignored. Max has been on a tear as of late, undefeated in the Pint of Blood Match, he just regained the SNUFF Championship – but I have a feeling it will be short lived and Bliss will surprise the world at Summer Camp Slasher.
CULT Classic Championship Datura vs Alice GeminiThis right here – I am calling it now – this will be the match of the year. Datura is the finest technical wrestler in this company and Alice is probably the most well rounded. This might have potential to be feud of the year depending on how things go on August 31st. This one is so hard to pick, you have two very talented women with New World Championship material written all over them. Alice has been dominating, but hasn’t been able to regain the top title since dropping it. Datura on the other hand wants to be the longest reigning CULT Classic Champion. It’s going to be a battle of wills and if I have to pick with a gun put to my head I have to go with Alice Gemini because her finger is likely to be on that trigger.
MAIN EVENT New World Championship Double Homicide Championships Johnny Bacchus and Grace Leary vs HeartkillersGrace Leary has gone from a sort of sidekick to New World Champion – and that has to affect Johnny Bacchus on some level. He brought her into the company, so let's see if Bacchus can toss aside any signs of jealousy. I know for a fact the plan was to make sure Bacchus walked out with the New World Championship at Bible Belt Beatings. Trust me, Grace and Bacchus cannot afford to have any issues when stepping into the ring with the best tag team CULT has seen since Three Ring Barney. Heartkillers have slaughtered every opponent in their way – and even an alligator that swallowed one of them. They are going to be hard to beat at their own game. I think at the end of the day that is what makes the difference – and it all has to be part of Casanova English’s plan. I think it is going to work out… I think the Heartkillers walkout with all the gold… I’m just not sure who makes the pin for the top strap.

Prologue
The temperature dropped when the sun set, but the humidity still hung in the air, thick and sticky. Lake Shenandoah ebbed and flowed lazily under the glow of a nearly-full moon. Loathe as I was to admit it, I'd almost missed Lakewood.
I took a hit of my dab pen and wordlessly offered it to Grace, reaching across the picnic table we found ourselves seated at. As she has every time I've ever offered it, Grace looked at me as if I'd grown a second head. I shrugged and took another hit before returning it to the table. I felt her fingers brush against my knuckles and took her hand in mine. She grinned, though our eyes didn't meet.
We hadn't spoken much about what happened in OKC. Which, in truth, was fine by both of us; there was little to discuss — through either or luck or divine providence, we nearly avoided hitting DEFCON 1, even if her glee to find a new angle to tear at Agent Dalton felt skincrawlingly familiar.
"Hey," she said, breaking the silence. "Is this wise?"
"I'm barely even buzzed," I shot back, prompting an eyeroll.
"You know that's not what I was talking about."
I sighed. Our respective grasps on each other tightened, Grace's fingers danced up my wrist.
"Is this going to work? Your little…"
"In theory, it should go off without a hitch. All the heavy lifting has been done, just need to get within range and run it."
She cocked an eyebrow. "In theory?"
"I don't think the guy who dished out for fucking Bluetooth capabilities on something like this has much of a clue the danger he opened himself up to — but there's always a chance he does."
My answer seemed to assuage any fears Grace had, for the moment at least. I drew a sharp inhale, my lip pinched between my teeth. It was my turn to ask a similar question of her.
"This is it, huh? No turning back?"
"Any chance of walking away, if we even wanted to, went the way of Harry Dunham. No, this is very much it."
"Right."
A silence fell over us as my gaze drifted back towards the lake. The dark water still ebbed and flowed. I could see dark clouds on the horizon.
"Is this wise?"
"Probably not." Grace shrugged. "Though, if such a thing were to give any of us pause, we'd have talked ourselves out of it a year ago."
Grace rose from her seat, hand still in mine, and made her away around the table, seating herself on the same bench. Our eyes met for a moment, though this time it was I who averted my gaze, looking down at our intertwined fingers.
"You're worried."
Of fucking course I am, I wanted to blurt back, but I bit my tongue instead.
"Just, you two be careful," I whispered instead. "Mercury's in retrograde which means if there was ever going to be a communications breakdown, it'd happen now—"
"Oh, shut up, 'Liv," Grace interjected, giggling. "You don't even believe in that crap."
"Just because I don't believe in it doesn't mean it isn't happening."
She drew me in for a tight embrace; my head rested against her shoulder.
"We'll be careful, 'Liv. I promise."
After a moment, she added with a playful whisper, "In theory."
"Bitch," I whispered in response, forced to laugh in kind.

*Note: Normally the segment/highway to deadline is the day after RP deadline, so I wasn't sure if the 30th was a typo or was as intended. I figure I will just post mine anyway and if they don't count today, no biggy.*
(Salem)
(With Summer Camp Slasher being across the country, I made sure to leave early. The distance wasn’t the only reason though. My anxiety over what I was facing played a significant role in my early departure as well. Now, I sit in my hotel room. My door barricaded so that I can relax. At least I would like to be able to. I don’t see it happening though. Not with what's ahead.
Though the idea of being leashed to someone is terrifying, I am resolute in my decision to move forward. If I can’t go through with being in this match, then what was any of this for? It would make everything up till now meaningless if I sat at home in fear.
In many ways, this is the culmination of all I’ve worked towards. Both, in and out of the ring. If my journey is to continue, I must press forward. Face down what horrifies me. Stare into the void once more.
Right now, I’m staring at the dirty walls of my hotel room. Housekeeping must not bother with that particular task. Hopefully, that’s the only aspect of cleaning they are disregarding. Like always, I’ve moved the desk and chair to block the door. Keeping the world out is what keeps me safe.
Safe.
The word turns over in my mind. I’m not sure I actually grasp its meaning since it’s something I haven’t felt in a very long time. The horrific Mama made sure of that. At this point, it’s become an abstract concept. Elusive. Foreign. Something that abandoned me long ago.
I feel its absence every time I leave my home. As if the world begins to close in on me when I exit my door. Its fangs and claws hover just above as it waits to take what’s left of me. Once the security of my house is left, I’m vulnerable. Naked. Exposed. There’s no armor to keep the world at bay. So, constructing barriers between it and me is necessary. Hence, my makeshift barricade.
The possibilities of tomorrow continue to plague me, but I have to hold firm. Resolute. I’m going to let them put that collar around my neck. Feel it press against my throat. I will do all I can to keep from lashing out at the person who does it. Try to contain my panic. I can’t shy away from it. I won’t.
I want to stare forward at Serenity. Take part of her and absorb it into myself. She is the next step of my self discovery. The next piece of the puzzle I have become. I am a work in progress. If I am to see the full picture one day, I have to keep going. Even through the worst of situations.
I’m coming Serenity. I will be there to stand across from you. Our bodies shackled together. I will tear from you the parts I need to continue. The things I need to help patch together my identity. I’m going to be whole someday. You are going to help me whether you want to or not.
Without apology.
Because I need it.
I will be thankful later.)
